She notices how technology has transformed the industry and its media coverage. Media by its nature needs more and more. It pulses on fast and new. Fashion like almost every other industry has moved from newspaper and magazine broadcasting to editors posting directly to instagram from their seats at the shows. The craft and exquisite details of couture are stripped away and the concept is copied to become high street fashion almost instantly. It’s not fast fashion its espresso fashion; consumed and forgotten as quickly. Hahn rightly suggest that ‘fashion is an art form. Art deserves time, space, and context to be fully appreciated.’
